I think there are 2 possibilities: it’s on purpose, which is cool, or the person that modeled the speaker grill copied the model from the grill because it was easier than making it from scratch and it’s still cool.

Ford did put a lot of neat design features into this car, so I’m sure it’s intentional. All of the speaker grills are the same, I’m surprised no one has noticed this til now.

The cloth seats have the same pattern too, but not in the V6 for some reason.
